Eligibility and Selection Process
Students who have passed 12th (10+2) with 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology/ComputerScience/Biotechnology are eligible for admission
(as per guidelines given by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow).

Pharmacy as a career option has been in demand since ancient times, when traditional medicine system like Ayurveda was in practice. With advancements in medical science, most of the grave diseases have been brought under control and Pharmacy has played an important role starting from the discovery of new molecules and medicines to their proper usage.

Master of Pharmacy Programme (M.Pharm.),
The Pharmaceutical Research Institute at Lloyd School of Pharmacy is an institute dedicated to cutting-edge research, pharmaceutical services and education in partnership with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and academic and research centers nationally and worldwide. The objective of the M. Pharm program is to develop students, over a period of two years through rigorous Industrial Training, Research and Academic exercises to meet the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. Students pursue a research project in their second year of the Program in consultation with the Pharm Industry and academia and submit a dissertation based on this. In the process they get appropriate research based interaction with industry and research organisations. Research in the Pharmaceutics Department encompasses basic, applied, and clinical investigations in :
(i) Pharmacokinetics/ biopharmaceutics
(ii) Pharmaceutical analysis
(iii) Pharmaceutical biotechnology and drug delivery.
Who Should Join ?
Candidates who have passed B. Pharm. Examination with 60% marks from an AICTE approved institute and are willing to make a career in Research and Development of Pharmaceuticals should join M. Pharm.

Candidates who have passed B. Pharm examination from AICTE approved institutions with 60% marks. GATE qualified candidates will be given preference
Shotlisted candidates would be called for an interview and only selected students would be enrolled as Junior Research Fellows (JRFs).

They interact with our students and give them inside information on latest industry trends and happenings in this ever expanding field.
The program is predominantly based on lectures, presentations interactions and research based practicals culminating in incisive projects undertaken by students during their second year on relevant topics. This Pedagogy enables students to take decisions based on their strong academic, practical and industrial background in the Pharma sector.
